Happy Sunday!
This past week was a week full of reading, but since I did daily updates during the readathon, I will keep this shortish and to the point. Starting the week off on Monday, I read three books: The Light Between Worlds by Laura E. Weymouth (LOVED IT), Scythe by Neal Shusterman (LOVED IT), and Blue Lily Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater (LOVED IT). I read a total of five books during the readathon though, and cannot wait for the next one! Since the readathon has ended, I have slowly been reading Save the Date by Morgan Matson, her newest summer contemporary and so far, I am really enjoying it! It is the perfect book to read after a week of mostly fantasy, and I know I am going to love it. It is about 400 pages and I am currently 54 pages in, but I am hoping to finish it in the next few days because I really want to get The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater, the fourth and final book in The Raven Cycle, read before the BookTubeAThon. Also because I am DYING to see how Stiefvater ties up this amazing series.
This was a slower writing week for sure because of the readathon, but I did manage to write about 12k towards my current WIP, Project Mystic. This project is at a word count of just over 47k, which means I am 3,000 words from reaching my Camp NaNoWriMo goal of 50k! Hopefully if all goes as planned, I will reach that goal tomorrow, but the writing does not end there. I am not even HALF way through my second draft and I really want to get it finish by August 16 (my birthday) so I can step away for a month or so before jumping into draft three. I have also been working on a short story and am entering the editing process for it tomorrow after writing two drafts. It will be a busy writing week as always, but I am looking forward to it!
That is all for my reading and writing update, and I will be back tomorrow with a brand new blog post!

Your doing amazing in writing if 12k is slow for you… I’ve been stagnant in my writing for a few days and I’m happy if I get 5k in a week.
