Next week is BookTubeAThon, yet I have more books I want to finish reading this week than next week. At the moment, I currently reading “City of Glass” by Cassandra Clare, the third book in The Mortal Instruments series, and I forgot how amazing it is! It has been about two years since I re read this series, but I remember City of Glass being my favourite of the six, and I can see why. I am close to finishing it, I have just over one hundred pages left, and when I finish that I will be reading “Alex and Eliza” by Melissa De La Cruz. I am really excited for this book because it is a YA story about the love between Alexander Hamilton and Eliza Schuyler. I cannot wait to dive into it and see how much I like it! I even have a third book I want to finish by…well, tomorrow, and that is “Eliza and Her Monsters” by Francesca Zappia. I picked this book up yesterday because the synopsis was something I was definitely in the mood for, and now I am just dying to read it! I am hoping to start and finish it tomorrow so wish me luck.
Yesterday I took a break from writing which I really didn’t want to do but had to because I needed to organize some of my thoughts for it. I am at a total of 43,073 words and my goal is to get to 50,000 words by the end of July, which I think I can easily get to. I have a clear vision on where my story is going, it is just the end that was somewhat fuzzy and also whether or not I wanted to write another book to go along with it, or another two, or none at all. Now though, I know how my end will play out and a rough outline for what a sequel could look like, things are a little more organized. I do plan on writing today and tomorrow and the rest of next week and so on (thankfully), and I am looking forward to keep chugging along!
That is all for my reading and writing update and I hope you enjoyed. Don’t forget to check out my last blog post: 2017 BookTubeAThon TBR!ED
