Happy Sunday! This week was more productive reading and writing wise than past weeks, thankfully, so I am excited to share what I managed to get done in today’s update and I hope you all enjoy 🙂
Slowly but surely, I have been making my way through Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi and I finally finished it yesterday! This is the fourth book in the Shatter Me series which is amazing, and this book was just as fantastic as the first three. I had high expectations going into it, since I loved all the other books, and all of those expectations were met so I definitely recommend giving it a shot! Next I will be picking up Sapphire Blue by Kerstin Gier because I listened to the audiobook for the first book, Ruby Red, a few months back, and never ended up continuing on with this re-read. This is one of my favourite trilogies that I have re-read and loved it millions of times. I am so excited to jump back into this world of time traveling and also visit the characters I love so much!
As for writing, I think by the end of the week I wrote about 7,000 words which is great! This is a pace I need to keep up for the rest of the month because I am trying my hardest to finish draft 1 of my current WIP by the end of May. Yes, putting time constraints on your writing isn’t the best idea, but this is something I want and know I can do. Also, I won’t have time to really write for all of June, and when I finally do have time I want to get straight into draft 2. I am still loving my story and characters, and I have so many ideas on how to make it better than I am just itching to start on the next draft.
That is all for my reading and writing update, and I hope you enjoyed! Don’t forget to check out my last blog post and also follow my social media accounts for more writing and reading related content. Thanks 🙂
