Series to Binge Read

We all love those series that you can just sit down, read, finish the book, and then continue on with the series without getting up…well obviously you get up at some point but you don’t want to. For this post, I will be telling you guys some series that you will start and not want to stop.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead – I am currently reading this series and I am loving it! I am on the third book and I never want to put them down. It is about two girls, Rose Hathaway who is a dhampir (protects vampires) and Lisa Dragomir who is a royal Moroi (vampire) and their life at St. Vladamir’s. The books follow them as they face enemies while trying to maintain a decent image. This is a good series to binge read because there are six books in total, Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise, Spirit Bound and Last Sacrifice. Go! Read them!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan – This series is such a fun and easy series to binge read so if you haven’t read these please go now and read them! These books are about a boy named Percy Jackson who discovers he is the son of a Greek god and how he has to learn to live with that because that isn’t a small feat. There are five books in the series and I love all of them. The Lightning Thief, Sea of Monsters, Titan’s Curse, Battle of the Labyrinth and Last Olympian. A totally easy binge read!

The Selection Series by Kiera Cass – There are now 5 books in this series (The Selection, The Elite, The One, The Heir, The Crown) and they are just so easy to read. I read the first 3 books in one sitting because I was absolutely hooked. I really recommend this as a binge reading series.

Lux Series by Jennifer L Armentrout – Again, there are five books in this series (Obsidian, Onyx, Opal, Origin and Opposition) and they are really interesting! My favourite is probably the first book but all the books are very good. Please read this series if you haven’t yet!

February Wrap Up

February was definitely not the best reading month for me…I think I only managed to read 2 books this month which is not terribly bad for me (considering I am a slow reader) but in January I read way more books but I guess the streak will not be continuing. I guess I have been slow because I have been sick and managed to slip into a reading slump, which I am conquering by reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (BTW check out my blog post on how to conquer a reading slump!) so I am hoping that will get me back into the swing of things! Okay so lets start the wrap up!

The first book I completed in February was Origin by Jennifer L Armentrout which is the 4th book in the Lux series which I am obsessed with! The Lux series is about a girl named Katy who moves in next to a set of twin aliens and we follow her experiences with them. So good and I highly recommend it! I am dying to get my hands on the last book Opposition but sadly it seems to be sold out EVERYWHERE.

The second and last book I completed in the month of February was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. This book is about a girl named Cath who is shy and a booknerd, and is attending her first year of college with her twin sister, Wren but Wren wants to go off and explore on her own leaving Cath to fend for herself…but she finds it hard to make friends and fit in considering the fact that she doesn’t want to…I absolutely love this book and I flew through it when I was sick! Definite recommendation!

Okay, so that is all I have for this blog post and I will be back with another one tomorrow!
