2018 Biannual Bibliothon Day 1: Reading Update!

alejtr5u

So day 1 of the winter Biannual Bibliothon is done, and I am very proud with what I managed to read. I decided to start of with The Elite by Kiera Cass, which is the second book in The Selection series, and I easily finished it in one day. I started it just after midnight, read until about one thirty in the morning, and then finished it off in the earlier afternoon. Even though I have read this book a few times, I still cried…maybe even more than I did the first three or so times I read it. I just love these books because they are so fun and entertaining to read. Anyways, this means I completed the challenge #2 which was to read a sequel, so yay! I also read some of Peter Pan by James M Barrie for challenge #5&6 to read a book mentioned in another form of media, and to read a book under two hundred pages. I decided to try out the audiobook version and I am really enjoying it! I am not a big audiobook person because I have never really given them a shot, but listening to Peter Pan just brings the story to life so much more. The narrator is great, and I am already two hour and forty-three minutes in, which translates to page 78 and that is about half way through. However, it is only nine forty-three in the evening for me and while I do have some homework I need to do, I definitely will be reading some more tonight. Currently I am reading Peter Pan still, as well as The One by Kiera Cass, the third book in the selection series. I wasn’t planning on reading this book during the readathon, but I just have to finish it before I move on to my other books I had picked up. Anyways, I am thirty pages into it and my goal is to knock out maybe two hundred before I go to bed and at least another twenty or so pages of Peter Pan! Overall though, a very successful day!

Day 1 Reading Count:

Books Read: 1

Pages Read: 444

That is all for my day 1 reading update and I hope you enjoyed! Don’t forget to check out my post for the Biannual Bibliothon day 1 blogging challenge which was to create your snowy day reading list. I create a “Snowy Day Book Tag” where I share the books on my snowy day list ๐Ÿ™‚
