Long time no see!
Currently I’m reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater because yes, I am participating in the FINAL Biannual Bibliothon. I’m a little behind, but I know I’ll catch up in the next few days.
The first book I read for this readathon was Vicious by VE Scwab and it was AMAZING. Perfect, because I was reading it for the challenge of reading a predicted 5-star read. It definitely met all my high expectations.
I’ve also been listening to the audiobook for Crazy Rich Asians (challenge: read an adult book) and of course, I’ve been having a blast doing that. So far, I’m about 5 hours in but I’m hoping to finish it for Monday!
Now I’m 100 pages from finishing The Raven Boys (challenge: I can’t remember...) and then I plan on picking up one of the Avatar the Last Airbender graphic novels and The Picture of Dorian Gray by the end of the day!
Anyways, better get back to reading. Have a great day :)
Happy Father’s Day (and Sunday)!.

This coming weeks is my exam week and my last week at high school ever! Because of that, I really wanted to spend time this week reading a book that takes place at high school with high school aged characters because this is the last time I will ever be able to read one being at the same age and point in my life...which is so crazy, but exciting.
I remember when I started reading at age 10, mostly sticking to Percy Jackson who for the most part of the series, was pretty young. But then I was 13, reading Divergent, The Hunger Games and The Mortal Instruments where the characters were 15+ and suddenly, I couldn’t wait to be 15 (like Clary from TMI) because in my mind, that was when i would be “all grown up” (definitely not though). Then 15 came, and I wanted to be 16 and 17 and now I’m closing in on 18 and still feel like a small child (which I am). While I’m kind of sad to be closing this high school chapter of my life, I’m more excited for the future. I am more excited to read books where the protagonists are in college, but of course, I’ll always read YA and love it.
Anyways, that’s my little nostalgic rant. Hope you have a great end to your week :)
Happy Monday!
I posted a blog post all about my June reading and writing endeavours so make sure you check that out! The link is in my bio. Also, make sure you let me know what your reading and writing plans for June are.
I’m surprised I managed to post today because I am trying to hold my life together for exams next week, so I don’t know how frequently I’m going to post, but I’m going to really try!
It’s already 3:45pm for me, so I’m going to try and get some writing in. Preferably 1,000 words, but we will see how that goes. My attention to sit down and write has been shortened lately since there are soooo many other things I need to be doing but the thing with writing is you need to prioritize time to do it. Otherwise it won’t ever get done.
