Reading + Writing Goals – November + December

Making my goals for September and October back in August was difficult because I wasn’t sure what my school load would be like, however, September and October turned out to be two incredibly productive months despite all the school work that needed to get done! Let’s take a look at those goals and see what I got done:

  • Finish re-writing and editing the first 20 pages of Project Mystic for the fellowship
  • Submit to the fellowship
  • Read 6 books
  • Submit to 1 writing contest
  • Submit to 2 literary magazines
  • Post 30 blog posts

I managed to complete 5/6 goals I set out for myself and I am very, very happy with that. Okay, now onto my goals for November and December! The last two months of 2018…

  • Finish draft 2.5 of Project Mystic
  • Write 4 new pieces of work (short stories, essays, etc)
  • Submit to 2 writing contests or literary magazines
  • Submit to 2 writing scholarships
  • Read 12 books

I went for fewer goals for these two months, but in no way will it be easier. I know for a fact November and December will be extremely difficult, but I want to make sure I end the year on a good, productive note! I am excited to get lots of writing and read done, and hopefully, you are too.

So, there they are! My wrap up on my October and September goals, and what I have planned for the upcoming two months. I hope you enjoyed and make sure you check out my last blog post, as well as my social media accounts for more bookish and writing related content 🙂
