While I usually like to start off each month being productive and getting ahead of all the things that was not the case for this month… Despite that, I still have a few things I can update you guys on so here is my reading and writing update for the week!
I have actually been pretty on top of things reading wise this week which is nice for a change. That is because I have been re reading Jenny Han’s “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy for the millionth time. Last Sunday I finished the second one, P.S. I Still Love You, so I have spent this week getting through the third, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, which I actually just finished today! Next I plan on diving into Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi because I have had this book since it first came out in March but just haven’t read it yet which is not acceptable. I cannot wait to jump into this book because I adored the first three in this “Shatter Me” series, and I know I will love this one too.
As for writing…well I didn’t end up continuing with my Camp NaNo project until Saturday when I finally sat down at pumped out 1116 words. To be fair, I wanted to take the first day of May off just to relax and recoup, but then I ended up getting really sick and was unable to string together a single sentence, much less a thousand words a day. So I took a few extra days off but then when I sat down to write yesterday it felt so good to be back in my story, despite the hot mess it is. However, while I was sick, I did end up editing two short stories I have been working on for a bit so at least I wasn’t entirely unproductive, right?
That is all for my reading and writing update and I hope you enjoyed. Don’t forget to check out my last blog post, and also follow my writing accounts so I call follow you back 🙂
