June is the final month of school for me, and luckily I have no big exams this coming from month so I do plan to do lots of reading!
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare – I am currently reading this book, but it is massive that it is taking me a while to get through it. If you didn’t know, Lord of Shadows is the sequel to Lady Midnight, which follows a group of Shadowhunters who are trying to figure out the murder of Emma Carstair’s parents’ death. This was my favourite book of 2016, so I am super excited to continue reading the sequel because I am already loving it!
Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen – I love the vibe I get when I read this book so I am planning to read it the last week of school. Saint Anything is about a girl named Sydney who has spent her whole life out of the spotlight, but when her brother, Peyton, does something that puts the whole family front and centre, she realizes she can’t escape it. This is a really fun, light and summery contemporary that I cannot wait to re read!
The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan – I started reading in May, but I got distracted with Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare so I never finished it. The Dark Prophecy is the sequel to The Hidden Oracle, and follows the god Apollo as he is cast down to earth as a mortal. This is a very funny and fast paced series that I cannot wait to continue on with.
White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L Armentrout – I suspect that this will be a really fast paced, easy read as most of Jennifer L Armentrout’s books are, so I am excited to get to it later this month. I know this book deals with supernatural creatures and that is all I really want to know about it. I like to go into books like this without a clue what is going on, just to be pleasantly surprised.
Those are all the books I plan on reading in the month of June, and I hope you enjoyed. Don’t forget to check out my last blog post: Reading/Writing Update!
Awesome TBR!!!
Did you enjoy Lady Midnight? I have the book on mine but I’m still unsure 🙂

Thank you! And Lady Midnight is definitely worth the read if you have read all of Cassandra Clare’s other books. It is so addicting and fantastic!
