11 more days until Camp NaNoWriMo and I am extremely pumped! NaNoWriMo is a great way to push yourself to complete your goal which is one of the harder parts of writing. I will be sharing some ways I get inspiration for my writing with you guys today and I hope you find some of these useful!
Writing Prompts – these are a great way to get ideas because you can take a writing prompt and make it entirely your own. For my NaNoWriMo project, it came from a writing prompt about 3 different items and from there my idea grew into something very complex!
Everyday Life – life is a great way too get ideas because its filled with endless possibilities. You can twist and tweak an event that happened to you and make it into an interesting story and boom! A great idea.
Other Books – by “other books” I don’t mean take concrete ideas straight from author’s books, what I mean is take elements from the stories and compact them into something entirely different and your own. Sometimes other world’s give you inspiration for your own.
Those are a few ways to get writing inspiration and I hope they were helpful!
Ideas are everywhere. 🙂

I am writing poetry at 10,000 words for Camp NaNoWriMo and celebrating my birthday July 11. I have a cabin called Cabin Enigma. Do you have a cabin yet?
