Hey! So last year I participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in November and basically what that means is that in one month (the month of November) you have to write a 50,000 word novel. It is basically an event that pushes you to create the first draft of your novel. I personally really loved participating in this and I actually managed to write 50,000 words in those 30 days! Anyways, now there is Camp NaNoWriMo where in July, you have one month to write however many words you set as your goal and I will be participating in it this month. If you like to write and want to see if you can push yourself to write a certain amount of words, then you should definitely try this out!

Last year was my first time participating in NaNoWriMo and I sadly fell short of my goal but I am so excited to go to camp. I set my goal at 30,000 but am really hoping to reach 50,000. Have you decided what to write yet?

I really hope you reach your goal this year, and yes, I am planning on writing a sci-fi novel and my goal is 50,000 words but in the end I would like to have much more than that 🙂

My goal is to get at least 30K words but I really think I can do much more. Mine is a fantasy story and I can go on for days about those so this should be easy. I love Sci-fi as well, I just cant seem to write it.
